Are you reading your SDAF email?

Electronic Newsletter Blues.  While a vast majority of our 2012 members opted to receive their Newsletters via email (which saves us considerable time and expense, not to mention trees!), our email facilitator (MailChimp) has provided us with some very interesting statistics.  We were surprised to learn and have no good explanation for the fact that 42% of recipients have not yet "opened" the last email from us that included the May Newsletter and Spring Retreat Registration information.  Might your email program be blocking our addre

May 2012 "Spring" Newsletter

April 6 is the registration deadline for the SDAF Spring Retreat at Pine Springs Ranch,--May 4-6, 2012.  There are only a few rooms remaining so get mail your form and payment today to guarantee your space!  See the attached Newsletter for complete information and a printable registration form.

2012 membership and media subscriptions now due!

The free six-month extension of the 2010-11 membership year ended on December 31.  SDAF has switched to a calendar year basis so it's time to renew 2012 membership and media subscriptions (recordings and the printed version of the Newsletter).  As always, the email version of the Newsletter is free!  While annual media subscriptions save 25% over individually-ordered CDs and audiotapes, a 50% saving is realized when lectures are downloaded directly from the webstore for immediate listening.  New members and subscribers are always welcome!

October SDAF meeting one of the most useful ever.

The strongly positive response received following Dr. Paul McGraw’s October 22 presentation is continuing. High praise for this meeting is now being received from enthusiastic media subscribers who, after listening to their CD, are ordering additional copies to share with family members and friends.

NEW STARTING TIME FOR QUARTERLY MEETINGS!

As listed in "upcoming events," please make note of our new meeting time:  9:30 a.m. on October 22, 2011.  The SDAF Board of Directors voted over a year ago to schedule meetings quarterly and to change the presentation time from Sabbath afternoon to Sabbath morning at 10 a.m.  Attendance at the morning meetings was significantly greater than at most recent afternoon meetings.  However, the number attending the question/discussion period decreased dramatically when it was delayed until immediately following the buffet luncheon.

SDAF has a new website…www.sandiegoadventistforum.org. (and you're now on it!)

We apologize for the pregnant pause between meetings due to the rescheduling of our spring retreat and for the gap in our online presence following the mysterious disappearance of our link on the tsdachurch website…but we’re back with a stronger online presence than ever!
